Kaum hat man die erste Seite aufgeschlagen, zieht einen „Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets“ sofort wieder in diese so wunderbar verwunschene Welt von Hogwarts. Die Geschichte nimmt dich mit auf Harrys zweites Schuljahr, das alles andere als gewöhnlich verläuft: Ein dunkles Geheimnis lauert in den Gemäuern der Schule, mysteriöse Angriffe verunsichern die Schüler, und dann sind da noch diese unheimlichen Flüstereien in den Gängen. Klingt spannend? Oh ja, das ist es!
Harry, Ron und Hermine sind wieder da, wie ein vertrautes Trio, das man fast wie alte Freunde willkommen heißt. Die Figuren wirken lebendig und wachsen einem immer mehr ans Herz. Der Schreibstil von J.K. Rowling bleibt unkompliziert, charmant und voller kleiner Details, die die Fantasie wunderbar anregen – perfekt, um sich komplett in die Welt der Zauberei zu verlieren. Besonders klasse finde ich, wie die Geschichte nicht nur spannend bleibt, sondern auch mit Humor und Wärme durchzogen ist. Ach, und wem die magische Atmosphäre nicht reicht: Die Original-Lesung mit Stephen Fry ist ein echtes Highlight, seine Stimme macht das Hörerlebnis wie einen Besuch in Hogwarts selbst.
Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen? Für manche Momente wirkt die Handlung vielleicht ein bisschen vorhersehbar, wenn man schon tiefer in die Reihe eingetaucht ist. Und ab und an ziehen sich einige Szenen etwas, aber das schmälert den Spaß kaum.
Fazit: Wer auf Zauber, Freundschaft und ein bisschen Gruseln steht, ist hier genau richtig. „Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets“ hält, was es verspricht: magische Abenteuer, die man nicht aus der Hand legen will – egal, ob gelesen oder gehört.
